Terms of
service.

These terms govern access to and use of the Kynos platform and related services provided by Zenith Kids, Inc. By using the services, you agree to these terms. If you represent an organization, you are agreeing on behalf of that organization.

01 /Section 01

The services

Zenith Kids provides the Kynos detection platform, including scoring APIs, dashboards, evidence preservation, and related tooling. Access is provided under a written agreement between Zenith Kids and the customer organization. These terms apply in addition to that agreement and are incorporated into it by reference.

The services are intended for legitimate child-safety detection use cases. They are not designed for, and must not be used for, surveillance of individuals outside the scope of the customer's lawful child protection program.

02 /Section 02

Accounts + access

Customers are responsible for the security of their accounts, API keys, and webhook secrets. Any activity performed under a customer's credentials is attributed to that customer. Credentials must be rotated promptly on suspicion of compromise.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms, attempt to circumvent the security posture of the platform, or are used to transmit unlawful content.

03 /Section 03

Acceptable use

Customers must obtain appropriate legal authority and user consent under their own jurisdictions before submitting conversation data to the platform. Customers must not use the platform to harass, surveil, or target individuals in violation of applicable law.

Reverse engineering the model or detection internals with the intent to evade detection is strictly prohibited.

04 /Section 04

Data + evidence

Conversation content submitted by a customer remains the customer's data. Zenith Kids acts as a data processor. We sign, timestamp, and preserve evidence records on the customer's behalf and provide export and verification tooling.

The customer is the party that shares evidence bundles with law enforcement or other external parties. Zenith Kids does not proactively share customer data with third parties.

05 /Section 05

Fees

Fees, tiers, and usage limits are set in the customer agreement. Nonprofit, law enforcement, and qualified research access may be provided at no cost as described in the pricing page and in the customer agreement. Nothing on the public website is an offer or a binding quote.

06 /Section 06

Availability

We work hard to keep the platform available and responsive. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Customer-tier SLAs, when applicable, are defined in the written agreement.

We will give reasonable advance notice of planned maintenance where practical.

07 /Section 07

Intellectual property

Zenith Kids owns the platform, the detection model, the user interfaces, and all related intellectual property except for customer data, which remains the customer's property. Customers receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for the term of the agreement.

08 /Section 08

Warranty + liability

The services are provided without warranties of any kind beyond those required by law or expressly set forth in the written customer agreement. Detection is a tool to support human decision-making. It does not replace the customer's operational, legal, or investigative responsibilities.

Liability is limited to the extent set forth in the written customer agreement.

09 /Section 09

Termination

Either party may terminate the customer agreement according to its terms. On termination, customers retain the right to export their data for a reasonable period. We retain evidence records only to the extent required by law or by the written agreement.

10 /Section 10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Zenith Kids is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through good-faith discussion will be handled as set forth in the written customer agreement.

11 /Section 11

Changes

We may update these terms when the practices they describe change. Material changes will be communicated to customers directly. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance.
